Spring Break 2026 for the Washoe County School District is March 23 to April 3. With numerous spring break camps and activities available in Washoe County, keeping the kids busy and entertained shouldn't be a problem. Spring Art and Game Camp from The Holland ProjectMarch 23 - 27, 2026, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Art and Game Camp is a full-day camp for youth ages 10+. We'll explore and create different art projects each morning, then our friends from The Glass Die will join us to play board games in the afternoons. Full-day or half-day camp options are available. Spring Kid Craft Camp from The Holland ProjectMarch 30 to April 3, 2026, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For kids ages 5 to 9. Each day of Kid Craft includes morning craft projects exploring a wide variety of materials and techniques, as well as fun activities each afternoon. Arts for All Nevada Spring Break Creativity CampsMarch 23 - 27 and March 30 to April 3, 2026, 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. There will be three spring break camp sessions from Arts for All Nevada - "Cozy Critters," "Here Comes the Sun," and "What a Hatch!" Click the camp links for more details and to register online. "Cozy Critters" and "What a Hatch!" are for kids ages 6 to 10, with "Here Comes the Sun" for ages 11 to 14. The cost per week is $200. Spring Exploration Camp at Galena Creek Visitor CenterMarch 23 to April 3, 2026, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Campers ages 9 to 13 spend the day outside exploring nature with hikes, interactive lessons, expert talks, and crafty fun. The camp fee is $325 per child. Financial aid is available. Camp is held at Galena Creek Visitor Center in south Reno. Spring Break 2026 Camp Discovery at The DiscoveryMarch 23 - 21 and March 30 - April 3, 2026, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Discovery Museum in Reno presents Camp Discovery during WCSD's spring break. Each week offers four different sessions based on class in school, from Kindergarten through 4th grade. The cost is $290 (members) to $315 (non-members) per week. The City of Reno Parks and Recreation Department hosts Vacation Station for kids ages 5 to 12.5 years. Camp hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. The fee is $150 per child per week. Spring Break Kidz Kamp with Sparks Parks and RecMarch 23 - 26 and March 30 - April 3, 2026. Spring Break Kidz Kamp offers two weekly sections for children from kindergarten through 5th grade. Kamps are at the Recreation Gym. Camps include organized group games, free play, and art projects, all included with the registration fee. Registration accepted on a first come basis. The program is from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $230 or $191 for Sparks residents. To register, call (775) 353-2376 or go to online registration. Spring Break Activities for Kids and Families at the Washoe County LibraryMarch 23 - April 3, 2026, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Find lots of fun activities at your local Washoe County Library branch during spring break. Choices include Robotics Camp, Spring Breaker Maker, Spring Break Teen Scene, STEAM Spring Break Camp, Spring Break Creative Camp. Spring Break Camps at the Nevada Museum of ArtMarch 23 - 27 and March 30 - April 3, 2026. The Nevada Museum of Art in Reno will be having a number of spring break art camps - Fun with Clay, Intro to Painting, Digital art and Illustration, and Creative Drawing from March 23 - 26, 2026. From March 30 - April 3, 2026, kids can enjoy Fun with Clay, Creative Drawing, and Intro to Textile Art. Camps are for kids ages 7 to 15 and varies depending on the camp. This camp ends with a free community performance on March 28 at 1 p.m. Kids will work on this story at Damonte Ranch High School in Reno. The cost is $335. It is for ages 7 to 17 and you can register online. Positions are available for actors and others related to producing a play. The number of participants is limited. Pre-registration required. Spring Break Camps from Challenge IslandMarch 23 - 27 and March 30 - April 3, 2026, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. First week is "Islandmon STEAM Quest" - Our adventurous STEAM Teams® are on a quest to catch, collect and train all of the island's mini-monsters. They'll visit gyms, earn badges, go on treasure hunts, and even engage in a battle or two. Second week is "Slimetopia 2: Total Slime Takeover" - You and a crew of STEAM Teammates will ooze with excitement as you design your own Slimeliner Jet and fly to a different slimey continent every day. Camp offers a mix of skiing and snowboarding at Palisades Tahoe, community service at Good Shepherd Clothes Closet, and lacrosse at Sage Ridge School. Spring Break at the May MuseumThrough April 27, 2025. In addition to the permanent collection and current exhibit, "Lost World of Dragons," The May Museum is working on additional features and activities for visitors. Check the website for details.
