Reno Earth Day

Reno Earth Day will be at Idlewild Park on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., free admission. The event features hundreds of exhibitors, performers on multiple stages, and activities focused on environmental education. All waste is collected and separated for recycling and composting. Actual Earth Day is on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Learn about sustainability, recycling, energy and much more from local non-profit and educational groups. Be sure to bring your flask and reusable shopping tote. Get in the Earth Day spirit by riding to the event on the Truckee River Bike Path.

Free RTC Transit rides on Earth Day - RTC will provide free transportation to and from the Reno Earth Day event on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Idlewild Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The service will go back and forth between Idlewild Park and the Washoe County Courthouse parking lot, with shuttles arriving approximately every 15 minutes.

Earth Day Celebration at The Village at Rancharrah

Saturday, April 19, 2025, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Spend the day shopping sustainably at the Earth Day marketplace. Enjoy interactive, Earth-inspired craft stations throughout the day, including DIY pollinator gardens, live music, kids crafts, seed paper earth cards, a collaborative community art installation, and more. The Village at Rancharrah is at 7300 Rancharrah Pkwy. in Reno.

Saturday, April 19, 2025, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This local Earth Day celebration is one of the largest environmental education events in the area. The event provides local residents and visitors an opportunity to learn about the various environmental issues that affect South Lake Tahoe. This is a free, family friendly event. At Lake Tahoe Community College, 1 College Drive in South Lake Tahoe, CA.

Tahoe Truckee Earth Day 2025

Saturday, April 26, 2025, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit the Village at Palisades Tahoe for one of the largest Earth Day celebrations in the region. Tahoe Truckee Earth Day 2025 is a free public event celebrating and promoting the region's unique beauty. This community event gives kids and adults the chance to learn about recycling, composting, alternative energy, and sustainability though hands-on activities and presentations everyone can enjoy. The Village is at 1960 Olympic Valley Rd., Olympic Valley, CA (south of Truckee).
