What is the Reno Constituents Institute?The 2026 Reno Constituents Institute session runs from February 12 through May 7. The registration deadline is December 5, 2025 or until capacity is reached. Participants must be at least 18 years old and space is limited to 40 participants. The Reno Constituents Institute (RCI) answers many of the questions you may have about how government works in the City of Reno, Nevada. RCI is a free, multi-week course covering a variety of Reno city government functions. Participants gain valuable insight into City operations so they can share this information with friends and neighbors to help improve our quality of life. RCI participants meet with elected officials and City of Reno staff to gain an understanding of Reno's structure, processes, and services through hands-on exercises, tours and presentations. Register for the Reno Constituents InstitutePre-registration is required for RCI attendees. The application deadline is December 5, 2025. Sessions are held on Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Locations vary.
