Artown in Reno, Nevada Reno becomes Artown during the whole month of July. Artown 2026 is the 31st anniversary of this multi-faceted event, bringing Reno residents and visitors a month's worth of music, art, dance and other cultural experiences. There are hundreds of individual events, exhibits and workshops, with the majority of events and performances free. Artown brings national and international multi-disciplinary performances to Reno that are literally incredible. Artown 2026 runs for 31 days, from Wednesday, July 1 through Friday, July 31.

Artown Opening Night: Smash Mouth

Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Artown opening night is at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park and features Smash Mouth, a Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum American rock band whose unmistakable sound and feel-good energy helped define late-'90s and early-2000s pop culture. This is a free show, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Artown Closing Night - Playing For Change

Friday, July 31, 2026. Playing For Change was created to inspire and connect the world through music. The project began with the belief that music has the power to break down barriers and bridge distances between people. The free show will be at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
