Final Flag at the Reno Air Races
Due to a number of factors, 2023 was the final year of the Reno Air Races at Reno-Stead Airport. The new location, Roswell, New Mexico, will begin racing in 2025.
Reno Air Show
One final event is scheduled before the air races are gone from Reno for good. The Reno Air Show will take to the skies on October 4 - 6, 2024, celebrating 60 years of aviation in Reno. This big airshow won't have racing, but there are plenty of big performers, including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, Canadian Forces Snowbirds, U.S. Air Force F-16 Viper Demo, STOL Drag Demonstration, Undaunted Airshows and many more. In addition, there will be ground displays and aircraft rides for purchase. Only a limited number of tickets will be sold for this event. It is recommended that you purchase tickets online in advance.
