Easter Sunday in 2025 comes on April 20, with many Easter egg hunts in the Reno area are on Saturday, April 19 and some during the previous weekend. Be sure to check the dates listed. Easter Egg Hunts

EggFest 2025 - Saturday, April 12, 2025, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We will be holding this free community event for everyone who enjoys the outdoors, egg hunting, sweets and people. There will be lots of eggs, candy, face painting, climbing wall, food trucks, and more. At Shadow Mountain Sports Complex, 3300 Sparks Blvd. in Sparks. Sponsored by Summit Church, 7075 Pyramid Way in Sparks.

The Great Egg Race - Saturday, April 12, 2025, 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Free Easter Egg Hunt for our community. There will be pictures with the Easter Bunny, inflatables, food, crafts, egg hunts for all ages and more. 10300 Rio Wrangler Parkway in south Reno. Easter Egg Hunt at Andelin Family Farm - Friday and Saturday, April 18 - 19, 2025, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Children will receive a basket to find their eggs and then at the end, they can exchange baskets for bags to take their goodie-filled eggs home. Kids can collect a total of 12 eggs. The egg hunt is $7 per child as an add-on of admission into the Baby Animal Days and Tulip Festival. Tickets with egg hunt times available online. The farm is at at 8100 Pyramid Way in Spanish Springs.

Easter Egg Dash at Hope Community Church - Saturday, April 19, 2025, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Join us at 9 a.m. for a pancake breakfast, with an egg dash to follow for kids nursery school to 5th grade at 10 a.m. Hope Community Church is at 755 Trademark Drive in Reno. Easter Egg Hunt at St. John's Presbyterian Church - Sunday, April 20, 2025, 10 a.m. Children 12 and under are welcome to join this hunt for plastic eggs filled with candy. There will be 2 hunts - one for kids 6 and under, another for ages 7 to 12. Worship service at 10:30 a.m. St. John's is located at 1070 W. Plumb Lane in Reno. (775) 826-0990.

Easter Egg Hunt at Washoe Lake State Park - Saturday, April 19, 2025, 2 p.m. to 2 p.m. The South Valley Volunteer Fire Department is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt in the park. The Easter Bunny arrives at 12 p.m. and the hunt starts at 12:30 p.m. sharp. Due to the cost of eggs, we will be using candy-filled plastic eggs. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Please plan to arrive early, as parking spots fill quickly. The South Valley Volunteer Fire Department is requesting a minimum $5 donation at the park entrance to help cover the cost of supplies. Park entrance fees are waived for this event. The park is in Washoe Valley at 4855 East Lake Boulevard. If traveling from the Reno area, look for signs to the park at freeway Exit 44 at the south end of Washoe Valley. Meet at the group use pavilion. Call (775) 687-4319 for more information.

Paws 4 A Cause - Easter Egg hunt at Ferrari Farms - Saturday, April 19, 2025, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Easter egg hunting with your pet, photos with the Easter bunny, crafts and coloring, farm animals, hay rides, food and drinks. $6 for egg hunters, free admission to farm. Donations of pet food and pet accessories accepted. Ferrari Farms is at 4701 Mill St. in Reno.

Easter Fun-Fest at The Bridge Church - Sunday, April 20, 2025, 9 a.m. This free Easter egg hunt includes lots more - outdoor carnival games, bounce houses, rock climbing wall, dunk tank, free food, live concert, and more. There is a worship time at 10 a.m. The Bridge Church is at 1330 Foster Drive in Reno.

Cold Springs Easter Egg Hunt - Saturday, April 19, 2025, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. There are 5 age groups, with each group starting at a separate time, one after the other. Youngest goes first. Starts at 11 a.m. sharp. The vendor's event will include many local crafters and businesses, face painting, and other fun treats for the whole family. At 18400 Village Pkwy. in the Cold Springs area in northwest Reno.

Hop Into Spring at the National Automobile Museum - Saturday, April 19, 2025, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bring your family and friends to enjoy the festive atmosphere and welcome spring in style. It's the perfect way to kick off the season with fun activities, sweet treats, and plenty of memories. Join us for an Easter Egg Hunts at 11 a.m. Everyone will have a blast searching for hidden eggs filled with treats and surprises. The event is free, but museum admission still applies. The National Automobile Museum is at 1 Museum Drive in downtown Reno.

The Hunt - Saturday, April 12, 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. North Valleys Easter Community Event at O'Brien Middle School. There's an 8,000 egg hunt for infants through 5th grade, bounce houses, cotton candy, food truck, photo booth, and a raffle for a Nintendo Switch. Sponsored by Higher Vision Church. Event is at 5000 Silver Lake Rd. in the Stead area of northwest Reno.

Meet the Easter Bunny at Scheels - Wednesday, April 16, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Come to Scheels for free candy, free Ferris wheel rides, and free arcade games. Bring your camera for pictures with the Easter bunny. Scheels is at 1200 Scheels Drive in Sparks.

Meet the Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt - Sunday, April 20, 2025, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fun Quest inside the Grand Sierra Resort will host an eight-hour event where kids can meet the Easter Bunny and get $5 bonus credits plus a free gift with a $30 game play card purchase. 2500 E. Second St. in Reno.

Eggstravaganza 2025 at the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City - Saturday and Sunday, April 19 - 20, 2025, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The standard egg hunt is at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Admission includes a petting zoo, Easter Bunny pictures, 2 train rides, and museum admission. Admission is $26 for adults, $10 for children, free for 3 and under. 50% discount for museum members. Friends of the Museum premium egg hunt is at 11 a.m. It is $25 per child, $60 for 3 kids. The premium hunt features extras of an Eggstravaganza canvas tote bag with goodies, plus larger egg hunt prizes like toys and plush animals. The Nevada State Railroad Museum is at 2180 S. Carson Street in Carson City.

Easter Egg Hunt at Greater Nevada Field - Sunday, April 20, 2025, 1:05 p.m. The Reno Aces take on the Round Rock Express this Easter Sunday. For those in attendance at this game, there will be an Easter egg hunt and pictures with the Easter bunny.

Easter Egg Hunts around Lake Tahoe

Spring Eggstravaganza in Tahoe City - Saturday, April 12, 2025. This free event features lots of golf ball "eggs" to hunt, pictures with the Easter Bunny and more. For kids of all ages. The Easter Bunny arrives at 9:45 a.m. and the hunt begins at 10 a.m. At the Tahoe City Golf Course, 251 North Lake Blvd. (530) 583-3440.

Heavenly Village Easter Egg Hunt - Sunday, April 20, 2025, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Kids 10 and under try to find over 15,000 candy and toy-filled eggs sprinkled around the village, including $1,000 in cash prize eggs. After this eggs-capade, enjoy Brunch with the Easter Bunny or even try creating your own at their Build a Bunny workshop (these activities have a fee). Tickets are $5 per child. The Shops at Heavenly Village, South Lake Tahoe, CA.

Easter and Golden Egg Hunt at Palisades Tahoe - Sunday, April 20, 2025, all day. Join us for a day filled with family-friendly activities and springtime fun. We will have an Easter bunny with chocolate eggs at both Palisades and Alpine. For skiers and snowboarders who are out on the hill, you won't want to miss out on the annual Golden Egg Hunt. Follow along online throughout the day as we give out clues on where we've hidden the Golden Egg for a chance to win a 2025/26 season pass. There will also be a children's egg hunt on each mountain.

Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt at Gar Woods - Sunday, April 20, 2025, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Gar Woods in Carnelian Bay will be hosting an Easter egg hunt 11 a.m. on Easter Sunday.
